Best Brownies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
Optional Frosting:
3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp honey
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
Optional Frosting:
7. In a small bowl, beat butter, cocoa powder, honey, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies.
