Banana Brownies Recipe
These Banana Brownies are the perfect blend of chewy, fudgy goodness with a delicious hint of banana. Ideal for using up those overripe bananas, these brownies are sure to satisfy your chocolate cravings!

Wet Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter 226 grams 杻
2 cups white sugar 400 grams
2 large eggs 讀
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed bananas 240 ml, about 2-3 large, brown bananas
Dry Ingredients:
1 cups all-purpose flour 156 grams 稜
cup cocoa powder 60 grams
teaspoon salt 蓼
1 cups chocolate chips 270 grams

9×13 inch 23 x 33 cm baking pan
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat and Prepare the Pan
Preheat your oven to 350F 180C or 170C fan forced.
Line the baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving an overhang around the edges. Alternatively, lightly grease the pan.
Step 2: Melt Butter and Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, add the butter and sugar. Microwave for 45 seconds on medium power, then stir. Repeat until the butter is fully melted.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
Stir in the mashed bananas until evenly mixed.
Step 3: Combine Dry Ingredients
If the cocoa powder is lumpy, sift it first. Then gently whisk in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the wet mixture. Note: some lumps from the banana are normal.
Step 4: Add Chocolate Chips and Bake
Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Pour/spoon the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Bake for about 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few damp crumbs.
Step 5: Cool and Serve
Allow the brownies to cool fully in the pan for about 4 hours before slicing into squares.
Store brownies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
