Baked Apples with Goat Cheese, Honey, and Cranberries 燎
Ingredients:
– 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese
– 4 firm apples, halved and cored
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
– 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional: Chopped walnuts for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375F 190C.
2. Halve and core the apples, creating a little well in each half.
3. Arrange the apple halves in a baking dish, cut side facing up. Drizzle the olive oil over them.
4. Fill the center of each apple with crumbled goat cheese and chopped cranberries.
5. Bake the apples in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are tender and the goat cheese is melting beautifully.
6. Once out of the oven, drizzle honey over the top and sprinkle with fresh thyme. Dont forget to add salt and pepper to taste!
7. For an extra crunch, sprinkle some chopped walnuts if you like.
Serve these warm as an incredible appetizer or light dessert!
