Apple Pie Cheesecake Trifles
Layers of creamy cheesecake filling, spiced apples, and graham cracker crust make these trifles a delightful twist on classic apple pie! Perfect for individual servings and fall flavors.
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
12 graham crackers, crushed
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp butter, melted 杻
For the Cream Cheese Filling:
2 8 oz packages of cream cheese, softened 燎
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For the Apple Topping:
3 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
3 tbsp butter 杻
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 cup sugar
Optional Garnish:
Caramel sauce
Instructions:
1 Make the Crust: In a blender or food processor, pulse graham crackers and cinnamon until coarse. Mix in melted butter and stir. Spoon a layer into each serving glass, pressing lightly to compact.
2 Cream Cheese Filling: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Pipe or spoon a thick layer over the graham cracker crust in each glass. Chill for about an hour until set.
3 Cook the Apples: In a skillet, melt butter over high heat, then add diced apples. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring often, until tender. Remove from heat, then stir in flour, cinnamon, allspice, and sugar until well combined. Let cool slightly to thicken into a glaze.
4 Assemble the Trifles: Spoon the apple mixture over the cream cheese layer in each glass. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
