Air Fryer Honey Garlic Butter Chicken

Air Fryer Honey Garlic Butter Chicken Fillets

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken fillets or thin-sliced chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Honey Garlic Butter Sauce:

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon cornstarch optional, for thickening

Directions:

Preheat Air Fryer:

Set your air fryer to 375F 190C and allow it to preheat for 3-5 minutes.

Season Chicken:

Pat chicken fillets dry with a paper towel.

In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and onion powder.

Coat the chicken fillets evenly with the seasoning mixture.

Air Fry the Chicken:

Arrange the chicken fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Air fry for 8 minutes, then flip and cook for another 6-8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 75C.

Prepare the Honey Garlic Butter Sauce:

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice.

If a thicker sauce is desired, mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 1 teaspoon of water, then stir it into the sauce and cook for another minute.

Coat & Serve:

Once the chicken is done, brush or drizzle the honey garlic butter sauce over the fillets.

Garnish with fresh parsley or sesame seeds, if desired.

Serve with steamed rice, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad.
