Would you eat this Giant Double Patty Bacon Cheeseburger ?
Ingredients:
2 large beef patties 6 oz each
4 slices of crispy bacon
4 slices of cheddar cheese
2 large burger buns, toasted
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
4 lettuce leaves
4 tomato slices
4 pickle slices
1 tablespoon butter for toasting buns
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Season the beef patties with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the patties are fully cooked and the cheese is melted. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make a burger sauce.
Spread butter on the inside of the burger buns and toast them on the skillet until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
Assemble the burger: Spread the sauce on the bottom bun, layer with lettuce, a beef patty with melted cheese, 2 slices of bacon, another patty with cheese, tomato slices, and pickles. Top with the second bun.
Serve immediately with fries, chips, or a cold drink of your choice!
