Would you eat this Chimichurri Grilled Steak ?
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
2 ribeye steaks or steak of your choice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
For the Chimichurri Sauce:
1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped or 1 teaspoon dried oregano
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Prepare the Chimichurri Sauce:
In a bowl, mix the parsley, oregano, garlic, red pepper flakes, red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well and set aside to let the flavors meld.
Prepare the Steak:
Rub the steaks with olive oil, then season them evenly with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Let the steaks rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Grill the Steak:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the time for your preferred doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy 135F for medium-rare.
Rest and Serve:
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
Drizzle the fresh chimichurri sauce over the grilled steaks and serve immediately.
