Would you eat this Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta ?
Ingredients:
12 oz pasta fettuccine or penne
1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust for spice preference
teaspoon smoked paprika
teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
cup heavy cream
cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak, season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika, and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in honey and soy sauce, letting it bubble for 30 seconds to create a sweet and spicy glaze.
Pour in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth.
Add cooked pasta and seared steak back into the skillet, tossing everything together until well coated.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
