Homemade Mexican Pizza
Ingredients:
4 large flour tortillas
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 packet taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
1 cup refried beans
1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup taco sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F 200C. Lightly brush tortillas with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 5-7 minutes until crispy, flipping halfway.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Spread refried beans evenly over two of the crispy tortillas. Top with seasoned beef.
Place the remaining tortillas on top to form a sandwich-style base. Spread taco sauce over the top layer, then sprinkle with cheese.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and top with diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
Slice and serve warm with sour cream or guacamole on the side.
