Air Fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken tenders
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
teaspoon smoked paprika
teaspoon onion powder
Cooking spray
For the Honey Butter Garlic Sauce:
cup honey
3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
Directions:
Preheat your air fryer to 375F 190C.
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip into the egg, then coat with the seasoned panko mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine honey, melted butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes over low heat. Stir until smooth.
Toss the crispy chicken tenders in the warm honey butter garlic sauce.
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or over rice for a delicious meal!
