Steak with Garlic Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
1 teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
For the Garlic Cream Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
cup Parmesan cheese, grated
teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
Season steaks with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare or cook to your preferred doneness. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the garlic cream sauce over them.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
