Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli
Ingredients:
1 lb 450g shrimp, peeled and deveined
6 oz 170g smoked sausage, sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish
Chopped green onions for garnish
Directions:
Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
Cook the Sausage & Broccoli:
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add sliced sausage and cook until browned about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add another tbsp of oil and sauté broccoli for 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp:
Add the shrimp to the skillet with minced garlic and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Combine & Serve:
Return the sausage and broccoli to the skillet.
Pour in the honey garlic sauce and stir well to coat everything.
Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot!
