Slow Cooker Cheesy Ravioli Lasagna
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 24 oz jar marinara sauce
1 14 oz can diced tomatoes, drained
1 tsp Italian seasoning
tsp salt
tsp black pepper
1 25 oz package frozen cheese ravioli
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
Prepare the Meat Sauce:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
Stir in marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Assemble the Lasagna in the Crockpot:
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
Add a layer of frozen ravioli.
Spoon some ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until the ravioli is tender and cheese is melted.
Serve & Enjoy:
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
