Oreo Cheesecake
This Oreo Cheesecake is the ultimate treat for Oreo lovers! A rich, buttery Oreo crust beneath a luscious, creamy, Oreo-studded cheesecake filling, topped with ganache and whipped cream. Its indulgence at its finest!
Ingredients:
For the crust:
32 Oreo cookies 367g
4 tbsp butter, melted 杻
For the filling:
32 oz cream cheese, softened 907g 燎
5 large eggs 讀
1 cup granulated sugar 200g
1/2 cup sour cream 119g 籠
1 tbsp vanilla extract
20 Oreo cookies, quartered 230g
For the ganache:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 170g
1/2 cup heavy cream 119g 拏
Optional whipped cream topping:
1 cup heavy cream 237g 拏
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Make the crust:
1 Preheat the oven to 325F 163C. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs reserve cup for topping.
2 Mix the remaining crumbs with melted butter and press into a 9-inch springform pan, halfway up the sides.
3 Bake for 10 minutes. Keep the oven on.
Make the filling:
4 Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each.
5 Mix in sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Fold in quartered Oreo cookies.
6 Pour filling into baked crust. Bake for 1 hour or until the top looks slightly dry and the center is wobbly.
7 Turn off oven and cool the cheesecake inside for 30 minutes with the door slightly open.
8 Cool completely on a wire rack for 2-3 hours, then refrigerate for at least 5 hours or overnight.
Make the ganache:
9 Heat the cream until simmering and pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for 3 minutes, then stir until smooth.
Pour ganache over the cheesecake and refrigerate to set.
Optional whipped cream:
11 Beat the cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
12 Spread half on top of the cheesecake, and pipe swirls around the edges with the rest. Sprinkle reserved Oreo crumbs on top.
