Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Turnovers

Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed 縷
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 杻
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt 蓼
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1 egg, for egg wash 讀
1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted for drizzling
Instructions:
1 Preheat your oven to 375F 190C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2 Make the cookie dough: In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
3 Add vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract, then mix in the flour and salt until a dough forms.
4 Add chocolate chips: Fold in the mini chocolate chips and set aside.
5 Prepare puff pastry: Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into four equal squares.
6 Fill with cookie dough: Place a generous tablespoon of the cookie dough mixture into the center of each puff pastry square.
7 Fold and seal: Fold each square into a triangle and press the edges with a fork to seal.
8 Egg wash: Beat the egg and brush over the top of each turnover for a golden finish.
9 Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Drizzle with chocolate: Once baked and slightly cooled, drizzle melted chocolate over the top.
