Peppermint Candy Cane Cheesecake
A festive Peppermint Candy Cane Cheesecake with a rich, creamy filling and refreshing peppermint flavor. The crushed candy canes add a delightful holiday crunch to each bite! Serves 8.
Ingredients:
2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted 杻
16 oz cream cheese, softened 燎
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp peppermint extract
1/2 cup crushed candy canes
1 cup whipped cream, for topping
Additional crushed candy canes, for garnish
Instructions:
1 In a bowl, combine Oreo cookie crumbs with melted butter and press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create the crust. 2 In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract together until smooth and creamy. 3 Gently fold in the 1/2 cup of crushed candy canes, mixing evenly. 4 Pour the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust, smoothing the top. 5 Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set. 6 Before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with additional crushed candy canes for a festive touch.
