Chocolate Peppermint Lasagna
A delightful, no-bake layered dessert perfect for the holidays! This dessert combines layers of Oreo crust, peppermint cheesecake, and creamy chocolate pudding, topped with whipped cream and candy cane crunch.
Ingredients:
Oreo Crust
36 Oreo cookies
杻 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Peppermint Cheesecake Layer
杻 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
燎 12 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp peppermint extract
籠 1 1/2 cups whipped topping Cool Whip
1/2 cup crushed candy canes
Chocolate Pudding Layer
2 packages 3.9 oz each instant chocolate pudding mix
拏 2 3/4 cups whole milk
Topping
2 1/2 cups whipped topping Cool Whip
1/4 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions:
1 Prepare the Crust:
In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies including filling. Add melted butter and mix well. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish and chill in the fridge.
2 Crush the Candy Canes:
Unwrap candy canes, place in a zip-lock bag, and crush with a rolling pin.
3 Make the Peppermint Cheesecake Layer:
In a bowl, beat softened butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and peppermint extract until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and candy cane pieces. Spread over the chilled crust and freeze for 10-15 minutes.
4 Add the Chocolate Pudding Layer:
Whisk pudding mix with milk until it starts to thicken. Spread over the peppermint layer, and chill until set.
5 Top and Chill:
Spread whipped topping over the pudding layer and chill for at least 5 hours or overnight.
6 Finish with Candy Canes:
Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top before serving. Enjoy the festive treat!
