Would you Eat Luxurious Chocolate Caramel Pecan Cake?

Ingredients:

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 1/2 cups caramel sauce

– 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1/2 cup vegetable oil

– 2 large eggs, room temperature

– 1 cup boiling water

– 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut

– 2 cups granulated sugar

– 2 tsp vanilla extract

– 1 tsp salt

– 2 tsp baking powder

– 1 1/2 tsp baking soda

– 1 cup chocolate ganache melted chocolate mixed with heavy cream

– 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans for perfect release.

2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. This will give your cake a beautiful texture!

3. Add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Beat on medium speed until smooth and combined.

4. Reduce the mixer speed to low and gradually add the boiling water to the cake batter, mixing until everything is well blended and smooth.

5. Divide the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans, then pop them in the oven.

6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cakes cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before removing them and transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

7. Once cooled, take one cake layer and place it on a serving plate. Spread 1/2 cup of caramel sauce over the top. Then sprinkle with 1/3 cup of chopped pecans and 1/3 cup of shredded coconut for extra texture.

8. Repeat this process with the second cake layer, creating a deliciously layered structure.

9. Place the third cake layer on top and spread the chocolate ganache generously over the top and sides, creating a beautiful finish.

10. Finish it off by sprinkling the remaining pecans and coconut on top, and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce for that luscious sweet touch.
