2 cups fresh or canned green beans
1 tbsp butter
1 garlic clove minced

Instructions:
1. Prepare the mashed potatoes:
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender about 15-20 minutes. Drain, then mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until creamy.
2. Make the country gravy:
In a skillet, heat bacon drippings or butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until thickened. Season with salt and lots of black pepper.
3. Cook the green beans:
In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add green beans, toss to coat, and cook for 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Prepare the biscuits:
Bake biscuits until golden brown and fluffy.
5. Assemble the plate:
Serve the mashed potatoes topped with country gravy. Add biscuits, green beans, and bacon bits on top of the gravy for extra flavor.
