White Chocolate Fruit & Nut Cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened 杻

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar 蓼

2 large eggs 讀

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda 籠

1/2 tsp salt 蓼

1 cup white chocolate chunks

1/2 cup dried mixed fruits e.g., cherries, apricots, cranberries

1/2 cup chopped nuts e.g., almonds, pecans


Instructions:

1 Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2 Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.

3 Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.

4 Mix Add-ins: Gently fold in white chocolate chunks, dried fruits, and nuts.

5 Shape Cookies: Scoop out dough balls about 1.5 tablespoons each and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.

6 Bake: Bake for 1012 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
