Cheesy Ground Beef Sandwich
Ingredients:
2 slices of thick bread Texas toast or your choice
200g ground beef
2 slices of cheddar cheese
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped optional, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ground Beef:
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain excess grease and set aside.
2. Toast the Bread:
Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the bread slices, butter side down, until golden and toasted.
3. Assemble the Sandwich:
Place one slice of toasted bread on a plate butter side down. Add a slice of cheddar cheese, followed by the cooked ground beef, and then another slice of cheese. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
4. Grill the Sandwich:
Place the assembled sandwich back in the skillet. Grill over medium heat until the cheese melts and the bread is golden on both sides.
5. Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve with crispy fries or a side of your choice.
