Creamy Garlic Herb Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp red chili flakes optional
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1 Cook the chicken:
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
2 Prepare the sauce:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
Stir in the heavy cream, dried basil, dried parsley, and chili flakes. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
3 Combine and serve:
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spoon the creamy sauce over the top, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with steamed broccoli or your favorite side.
