Garlic Butter Shrimp
Ingredients:
500g large shrimp, deveined leave shells on for extra flavor
4 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup white wine optional
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Shrimp:
Rinse the shrimp and pat them dry. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Cook the Shrimp:
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and opaque.
3. Add the Flavor:
Pour in the white wine if using and lemon juice.
Let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly and coat the shrimp in the flavorful sauce.
4. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle fresh parsley over the shrimp before serving.
