Snickerdoodle Cobbler
Ingredients:
For the Batter:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder

cup granulated sugar
cup whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
cup brown sugar
cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
For the Hot Water Mixture:
1 cups hot water
Directions:
Preheat Your Oven: Set your oven to 350F 175C and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or a similarly sized ovenproof dish.
Make the Batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar. Add the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter, stirring until smooth and well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Topping: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter.
Add the Hot Water: Carefully pour the hot water over the entire dish. Dont stir! This step is essential for creating the cobblers gooey texture as it bakes.
Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 4045 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling. The cobbler will have a soft, slightly gooey texture underneath the crust.
Serve Warm: Let the cobbler cool for 510 minutes before serving. It pairs beautifully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream!
