Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup heavy cream 拏
1/2 cup whole milk 拏
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Let sit for 20 minutes until the strawberries release their juices.
2. Blend the strawberry mixture until smooth, or leave it slightly chunky for texture.
3. In another bowl, whisk heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract until combined. 拏
4. Fold in the strawberry puree. Mix well. 拏
5. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturers instructions.
6. Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
