Cheesy Baked Steak and Potato Casserole 燎數凜

Ingredients 北:

2 medium-sized steaks ribeye or sirloin, seasoned with salt and black pepper 數

4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced 凜

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 燎

1 cup heavy cream 拏

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 燎

3 cloves garlic, minced 龍

1 teaspoon dried thyme

2 tablespoons unsalted butter 杻

Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions :

1. Prepare the Potatoes 凜:


Preheat the oven to 190C 375F.

In a saucepan, heat heavy cream, garlic, and dried thyme. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then set aside.

2. Assemble the Base :

Arrange the thinly sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

3. Sear the Steak 數:

Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes per side until browned they will finish cooking in the oven.

4. Combine and Bake :

Place the seared steaks on top of the potatoes. Cover the dish with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. Garnish and Serve :

Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh thyme, and serve hot.
