Simple Slow-Cooked Korean Beef Soft Tacos: Bold Flavors in Every Bite!

– 500g beef chuck or flank steak, sliced
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 2 tbsp brown sugar
– 2 tbsp sesame oil
– 1 tbsp rice vinegar
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tbsp ginger, grated
– 1 tbsp gochujang Korean chili paste
– 1 tsp sesame seeds
– 8 small soft tortillas
– 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
– 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
– 1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions:
1 In a slow cooker, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and gochujang. Stir until well mixed.
2 Add the sliced beef to the slow cooker and coat with the sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender and easily shreds.
3 Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
4 Warm the tortillas and fill them with the shredded beef. Top with shredded cabbage, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice.
5 Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for added crunch and flavor.
