Cranberry Bars
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and melted butter. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Mix condensed milk, vanilla, and cranberries in a separate bowl. Spread evenly over the crust.
Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture and nuts if using over the cranberry layer.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
