Warm Up with Creamy Potato Hamburger Soup
A comforting blend of ground beef, tender potatoes, and a creamy broth, perfect for a cozy meal!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 carrots, peeled and diced
2 stalks celery, diced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese for garnish
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Beef:
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic, cooking until the beef is browned and onions are soft.
Add Vegetables:
Stir in the carrots and celery, cooking for another 5 minutes until they start to soften.
Thicken the Soup:
Sprinkle the flour over the mixture, stirring to coat the beef and veggies. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring to combine.
Add Potatoes & Season:
Mix in the cubed potatoes, salt, pepper, and paprika. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
Finish with Cream:
Stir in the heavy cream and allow it to heat through. Serve the soup hot, garnished with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh parsley.
