Crockpot Barbecue Ribs
Ingredients:
2 cups barbecue sauce use your favorite brand
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for heat
4 to 5 pounds baby back ribs
Instructions:
Prepare the Sauce:
In a large zip-top bag, add the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper if using. Seal the bag, then knead it with your hands to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
Add the Ribs:
Open the bag, place the ribs inside, and reseal. Shake and knead the bag to coat the ribs evenly with the sauce.
Set Up the Crockpot:
Lightly spray the inside of the crockpot with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Open the bag and transfer the ribs to the crockpot, pouring about 3/4 of the sauce over them to cover.
Cook the Ribs:
For tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs, cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 9 hours.
If you prefer tender ribs that remain on the bone, cook on low for 7 hours.
Serve with Extra Sauce:
Reserve the remaining sauce for serving. Provide extra sauce at the table so each person can add more if desired.
