Preheat and Prepare:

Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. Grease and flour a 913-inch baking dish.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.

Combine Wet Ingredients:

Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Stir in the cooled coffee batter will be runny, which is ideal for this cake.

Bake the Cake:

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan.

Prepare the Caramel Mixture:

In a bowl, combine the caramel sauce and sweetened condensed milk, mixing well.

Poke and Soak:

Use the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cooled cake. Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the top, letting it soak into the holes.

Chill:

Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours to allow the caramel to thoroughly soak in.

Before serving, drizzle chocolate sauce over the cake for an extra touch of decadence.
