Holiday Pear Sangria

Ingredients:

1 750 ml bottle dry white wine

1/2 cup pear or apple brandy

1/3 cup cranberry or pomegranate juice

1 cup apple cider

2 pears, thinly sliced

2 blood oranges, thinly sliced

1 cup fresh cranberries


1/4 cup candied ginger

3 cinnamon sticks

1-2 12 oz ginger beers, for topping

Ice, for serving

Instructions:

Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix the white wine, pear or apple brandy, cranberry or pomegranate juice, and apple cider.

Add Fruits and Spices: Stir in the sliced pears, blood oranges, fresh cranberries, candied ginger, and cinnamon sticks.

Chill: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve: When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice, pour the sangria, and top each glass with ginger beer for a fizzy finish.
