Valentines Day Jello Shots
Ingredients:
Pink Layer:
1 box 6 oz watermelon-flavored gelatin mix
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup coconut white rum
Red Layer:
1 box 6 oz strawberry-banana-flavored gelatin mix
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup coconut white rum
Whipped cream for topping
Valentines Day-themed sprinkles for garnish
Directions:
Prepare the Pink Layer:
In a bowl, dissolve the watermelon gelatin mix in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring for about 2 minutes until fully dissolved.
Add 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup coconut white rum to the mixture; stir well.
Pour the mixture into shot glasses, filling each about halfway.
Refrigerate for approximately 60 minutes, or until set.
Prepare the Red Layer:
Once the pink layer is set, dissolve the strawberry-banana gelatin mix in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring for about 2 minutes until fully dissolved.
Add 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup coconut white rum to the mixture; stir well.
Carefully pour the red mixture over the set pink layer in each shot glass, filling to the top.
Refrigerate for another 60 to 90 minutes, or until fully set.
Add Toppings:
Before serving, top each jello shot with a dollop of whipped cream and festive heart-shaped sprinkles.
