Capicola Canapés
Ingredients:
12 slices of toasted baguette
12 slices of capicola spicy or mild
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1 In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, honey, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
2 Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on each slice of toasted baguette.
3 Fold a slice of capicola and place it on top of the cream cheese.
4 Garnish each canapé with a fresh basil leaf and a sprinkle of black pepper.
5 Serve immediately and enjoy!
