Tequila Espresso Martini
Ingredients:
2 ounces tequila preferably reposado
1 ounce freshly brewed espresso, cooled
0.5 ounce coffee liqueur such as Kahlúa
0.25 ounce simple syrup adjust to taste
Ice cubes
Garnish: 3 coffee beans
Directions:
Chill the Glass: Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for a few minutes to chill.
Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add the tequila, cooled espresso, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup.
Shake Well: Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled and frothy.
Strain into Glass: Remove the chilled glass from the freezer and strain the cocktail into the glass, ensuring a smooth, frothy pour.
Garnish: Place three coffee beans on top of the foam for a classic touch.
