Green Detox Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh spinach
1/2 cup kale, stems removed
1/2 cucumber, sliced
1 green apple, cored and chopped
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger
1 tbsp chia seeds optional
1 cup coconut water or regular water
Ice cubes optional for chilled smoothie
Instructions:
1 In a blender, combine the spinach, kale, cucumber, green apple, lemon juice, ginger, and chia seeds if using.
2 Add coconut water and blend until smooth, adding more water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
3 For a colder smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again.
4 Pour into a glass and enjoy your refreshing, nutrient-packed detox smoothie!
