3 Packet Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Ingredients:
3-4 lbs chuck roast
1 packet ranch dressing mix
1 packet Italian dressing mix
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 cup beef broth
4-5 medium-sized potatoes, quartered
4 large carrots, peeled and chopped
1 onion, chopped optional
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
Directions:
Prepare the Roast: Place the chuck roast in the bottom of your slow cooker.
Add Vegetables: Arrange the potatoes, carrots, and onion if using around the roast.
Mix the Seasonings: In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing mix, Italian dressing mix, and brown gravy mix. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the roast and vegetables.
Add Liquid: Pour the beef broth into the slow cooker around the edges to avoid washing off the seasonings. Top the roast with the butter pieces.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
Serve: Transfer the roast and vegetables to a serving platter. Use the cooking liquid as a flavorful gravy to drizzle over the meat and vegetables.
