Ingredients
2 8 oz packages crescent roll dough
2 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
cup white sugar
Juice and zest from 2 lemons
2 tbsp melted butter
3 tbsp sugar for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F 175C and prepare a 9×13-inch pan with foil and cooking spray.
Press one can of crescent dough into the bottom of the pan.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth. Spread over the dough.
Place the second layer of crescent dough on top. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle sugar and lemon zest mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes, cool, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting.
