Tres Leches Cake Three Milks Cake
A rich and creamy Latin classic soaked in a delightful milk mixture!
Ingredients:
1 box white or yellow cake mix plus ingredients needed to prepare it
1 can 12 oz evaporated milk
1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup whole milk or heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tub 8 oz whipped topping or 1 cup whipped cream
Fresh fruit like strawberries or cherries for garnish optional
Instructions:
Prepare the cake mix as directed on the box and bake in a 9×13-inch pan. Allow it to cool completely.
Using a fork, poke holes all over the surface of the cooled cake.
In a mixing bowl, combine the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Slowly pour the milk mixture evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak in. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for the best results.
Spread the whipped topping over the cake and garnish with fresh fruit if desired.
Serve chilled and enjoy every creamy bite!
