Tiramisu Toffee Dessert

A sweet and creamy dessert combining the richness of tiramisu with a crunchy toffee twist!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups brewed coffee cooled

1/4 cup coffee liqueur e.g., Kahlúa

1 box 12 oz ladyfingers

8 oz mascarpone cheese softened

1 package 8 oz cream cheese softened

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup toffee bits


1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts optional

Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions:

Combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure they are moistened but not soggy. Layer them at the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, whip mascarpone cheese, cream cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and thick.

Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers.

Sprinkle toffee bits evenly over the cream layer, followed by the chopped nuts if using.

Add the second layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Dust the top with cocoa powder and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

Before serving, add extra toffee bits or nuts on top for crunch.
