Tiramisu Cake
Ingredients:
1 box vanilla cake mix or homemade equivalent
1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
1 cup mascarpone cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cocoa powder, for dusting
Dark chocolate shavings, for garnish
Instructions:
1 Bake the vanilla cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
2 Once cooled, cut the cake into two even layers.
3 Brush each layer with cooled brewed coffee.
4 In a mixing bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
5 Spread the mascarpone cream mixture evenly over the bottom layer of cake, then top with the second layer.
6 Dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings.
7 Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving for the best flavor.
