The Best Spaghetti Casserole
Ingredients:
16 oz spaghetti, cooked and drained
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
24 oz marinara sauce
1 cup sour cream
1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1 Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2 Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion and garlic until softened. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease and stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3 In a bowl, mix sour cream with ricotta or cottage cheese.
4 In the baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, spread the cheese mixture on top, then add a layer of the meat sauce. Repeat the layers with the remaining spaghetti, cheese mixture, and sauce.
5 Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
6 Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
