Shrimp Stir Fry
A quick and flavorful dish loaded with juicy shrimp and crisp veggies, perfect for a healthy and delicious meal!
Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cups mixed vegetables bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, carrots, etc.
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions:
Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and the mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
Add ginger and garlic to the vegetables, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
Return the shrimp to the skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry. Stir everything together and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
