Seared Steak with Creamy Mushroom Sauce 數
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks 數
Salt and freshly ground black pepper 蓼
2 tablespoons olive oil 㮝
1 tablespoon unsalted butter 杻
For the Mushroom Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter 杻
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 garlic cloves, minced 龍
1/2 cup beef broth 北
1/2 cup heavy cream 拏
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Salt and black pepper to taste 蓼
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:
1 Cook the Steak:
1. Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and black pepper 蓼.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust to your preferred doneness.
3. Add butter to the skillet and baste the steaks for extra flavor 杻.
4. Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes while you prepare the sauce.
2 Prepare the Mushroom Sauce:
1. In the same skillet, melt butter 杻 over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown.
3. Stir in minced garlic 龍 and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in the beef broth 北 and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze.
5. Stir in heavy cream 拏 and Dijon mustard . Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3 Serve:
1. Plate the steaks and spoon the creamy mushroom sauce over the top 數.
2. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
