1 premade pie crust

3 medium apples, thinly sliced

cup sugar

1 tablespoon flour

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon cinnamon


1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg, beaten for egg wash

1 tablespoon coarse sugar for sprinkling

1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces

Preheat your oven to 400F 200C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with sugar, flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well coated.
