Pink Velvet Hot Chocolate for Valentines Day
Ingredients Serves 4:
For the Hot Chocolate:
3 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A few drops of red food coloring adjust to preference
Optional Toppings:
Whipped cream
Pink sprinkles or sanding sugar
Mini marshmallows
Heart-shaped candies
Crushed candy canes optional
Instructions:
Heat the Milk and Cream
In a saucepan, combine milk and heavy cream. Warm over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until hot but not boiling.
Melt the White Chocolate
Reduce heat, add white chocolate chips, and stir until fully melted and smooth.
Add Vanilla and Color
Stir in vanilla extract and a few drops of red food coloring until the desired pink shade is achieved.
Serve and Decorate
Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, sprinkles, marshmallows, or heart-shaped candies.
