Perfectly Tender and Juicy London Broil with Herb Butter
Ingredients:
2-pound London broil top round steak
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Herb Butter:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
Pinch of salt
Directions:
In a bowl, mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Season with salt and pepper.
Place the London broil in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, in the refrigerator.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Grill the London broil for 6-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
While the steak rests, prepare the herb butter by mixing the softened butter, garlic, parsley, thyme, rosemary, and a pinch of salt in a bowl until well combined.
Slice the steak against the grain and serve with a generous dollop of herb butter on top.
