Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup peanut butter

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup granulated sugar for rolling


24 Hersheys Kisses, unwrapped

Instructions:

1 Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2 In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.

3 Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

4 In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

5 Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in granulated sugar. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.

6 Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set and lightly golden on the edges.

7 Immediately press a Hersheys Kiss into the center of each cookie while they are still warm.

8 Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
