Nutella Puff Pastry Christmas Tree
A festive and flaky puff pastry dessert filled with delicious Nutellaperfect for holiday gatherings!
Ingredients:
2 sheets puff pastry store-bought
1/2 cup Nutella
1 egg beaten, for egg wash
1 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting
Optional: Sprinkles, chopped hazelnuts for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the puff pastry sheets and trim both into a triangle shape to resemble a Christmas tree.
Spread a thin layer of Nutella on the bottom triangle of one sheet. Place the second triangle on top and press down gently.
Cut strips along the sides of the tree, leaving the center intact. Carefully twist the strips of puff pastry to create a decorative “”””tree”””” look.
Brush the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden and puffed.
Let the tree cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar. Garnish with sprinkles or chopped hazelnuts for a festive touch.
