Mushroom Veggie Burger
Hearty, flavorful, and totally plant-based! 籠 This Mushroom Veggie Burger is packed with umami goodness and perfect for satisfying your burger cravings!
Ingredients:
2 cups mushrooms, finely chopped
凌 1 cup cooked quinoa
暈 cup onion, finely chopped
龍 2 cloves garlic, minced
cup breadcrumbs
讀 1 egg or flax egg for vegan option
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp thyme
蓼 Salt and pepper to taste
Burger buns
Toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, onion
Instructions:
1 In a skillet, sauté mushrooms, onion, and garlic until softened and most of the moisture has evaporated. Let cool slightly.
2 In a bowl, mix cooked quinoa, sautéed mushrooms, breadcrumbs, egg, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
3 Form into 4 patties and refrigerate for 15-20 mins to firm up.
4 Cook patties in a skillet or on a grill over medium heat for 4-5 mins per side until golden and heated through.
5 Toast burger buns and assemble with patties and your favorite toppings.
Serve with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh salad! 綾
